The Mysteries of the Moon
The Moon; La Luna; Harvest Moon; SuperMoon; Man in the Moon; Chandra.
There are many names for the Moon, in every indigenous culture. The Moon has been used to track the passage of time and seasons; planting cycles; fertility; love; and more for millennia.
The Moon is perhaps the most mysterious of the ‘planets’ in astrology – and daily life! After the Sun, it is the most visible influence in our lives, through its light, its effect on the waters of our planet and our bodies, and the stories and folklore around it. In astrology, the Moon signifies mother energy, the body, our ancestors, and even our homelands, among other meanings.
In medical astrology, the Moon is the distributor of the life force. If your natal Moon is in it’s home sign of Cancer, your energy maybe steady and easeful; in Virgo, you may have a sensitive digestion; in Aries, maybe you go full out until you burn out and need a break.
In this recorded two-hour online class, Kristine dives into all things Lunar, including astronomy, astrology, mythology, and ways of working with the Moon in our lives.
