Mars begins moving backwards (apparently) on December 6th, 2024 initiating a three month period of reflection, review and re-evaluation of what animates you, how you spend or replenish your energy, and what you truly desire.
When a planet goes retrograde – appearing to move backwards through the Zodiac – it signals a time of re-visiting and refining its archetypal energy in your life. Because Mars is the energizing and animating force, its rare (every two years) retrogrades mean re-evaluating what you want, what you want to do, and what builds or drains your energy. This is not a time for beginning new projects or relationships, and you may find yourself backing out or revisiting what you’ve recently started.
